The Imperial Princesses

Yesterday DF Babes and our instructor Jacky from Dance Factory Singapore
performed 公公偏头痛 (originally by Jay Chou) for M1's CNY D&D
at Mandarin Orchard Hotel.
It was a great experience and we had lots of fun!

I fulfilled my childhood dream of being a 格格 (Chinese Imperial Princess),
thanks to M1's theme: Imperial Palace.

The outfit came with headgears but because of the dance moves
we had to perform without them :(

We came up with our own hairstyles and we bought the same
hairpin (with pretty dangling pearls) to try and have the 古代 feel as much as possible.

We spent a lot of time taking photos and zilian-ing after our performance
at the event venue HAHAHA.
Luuuuuurve the costumes!

My lame ideas hahaha modern 格格s sipping orange juice and using phone!
I love the headgear so much I didn't wanna remove it LOLOL

More lame ideas! We are too cool to be true hahaha.

We rented the costumes from Masquerade, which has a large variety of costumes.
The shop is located at China Town, 37 Kreta Ayer if you ever need any costumes.
I saw Mermaid, Egyptian, Korean, Japanese and even Lady Gaga ones.
So tempted to rent a Victorian Gown and spam pictures haha!
Rental period is 3 days, and the aunties are very nice!

It was a few hours' escape from reality for me.
School drains my energy both mentally and physically
so it was great we could let our hair down even for a while.

Thank you DF, DF Babes and M1 for this amazing night!
Hope that there will be more of such events in the future
so that we can have excuses to wear cool costumes :D

Yupp, just a short post to update yall.
Thanks for reading! ^^
