Sports-less Day

Today was supposed to be Sports Day! But in the end it was raining and little children could not go out to play :( In the end we just had house dance and cheering, plus water soccer and mindsports. We are too cool le haha.

 

Not gonna rant about that though! I think what's the best part we got out of this was the house spirit in every house luhh! Every house put in a lot of effort to put up a great performance for the house dance, and after I watched the dances from other houses, I really think that everyone stood a chance to win! Given the limited official house meetings we have, I think every house did a good job trying to engage the rest of the house during the event. It was really really nice to see everyone having fun on and off stage luhh :)

 

I honestly felt super happy during the performance!! Hearing the rest of the house cheer for us even though we didn't tell them to do so in advance.. it was really about the house spirit :') that really motivated me to give in my 200% when I was dancing. Wahh I hoped somebody recorded the whole thing lehh I wanna watch..

Of course we have to talk about the efforts put in behind the scene haha. I think I'm really lucky to have this crew of people who are so committed. I feel bad luhh, cuz towards the last few practices I was always late in the morning due to lack of sleep from working on my PI. But everytime when I reached the venue for dance prac, everyone would be there already, helping each other out and practising hard. I wanna thank Wei Lin for helping out and cheering us on, Darren, Kai Li, Kai En and Kang Peng for helping out with the dance and everybody else who gave in their all for the dance crew. I know that many practised hard on their own and helped their friends along. Gonna sound cliche but all of this would not have been possible without everyone. Although it's sports day without sports this year, there was definitely house spirit :) So...

Now that Sports Day is finally over, we can have a short break for the next few days before we continue with our house initiatives! Looking forward to the rest of the year hehe.

Ok now I'm gonna sound like some whiney kid now. Haven't had much sleep for the next few days luh, cuz I was chionging PI. Wednesday night tried to stay up to do PI and fell asleep at 1+ am, luckily Gracia called and woke me up at 2+. Drank a can of redbull and chiong all the way till the morning den go to school! Had a close shave cuz I only had one coloured copy of my PI and I couldn't find anyone to help print another copy within a short period of time. But in the end I managed to ask my tuition teacher to help print and pass it to me during my break. Omg I promise I will work hard to score well for Chemistry. And so I went to school yesterday with only 1 hour of sleep and I had to take my GP test at 430pm. So tired that I don't feel tired. Ok that doesn't make sense haha. Then just now after Sports Day I went home and slept for 8hours before waking up at 11pm just now for dinner. That's why I'm awake and kicking at this hour haha. Finally got some good rest loe haha, goody-good :)

 

Ok laa I go study physics for a bit then go sleep again liao haha. Sound like a pig lol. A bit dunno what I'm typing cuz I feel very gong now so please pardon my grammar and spelling mistakes haha. Ok byebye! :D
