Resurfaced;

Had a break from blogging because we were busy preparing for syf the past few weeks! I'm so happy for RVDS, our hard work has been paid off: 3 Distinctions for all 3 dances!! :D

It's really sad that this is the last syf for me and the rest in senior high. I'm really going to miss the times spent practising together, especially the self pracs haha. We would be practising anywhere and everywhere; LTs, outside GO, along the stretch outside library, big steps, auditorium. Those places will surely bring back memories when we pass by. It's also a pity that the seniors are gonna step down soon. It's like we just got to know them better and they have to leave soon. And that brings back even more memories, back to when we were still in our junior high days. All the conflicts and unhappiness. What were we doing being so childish, only learning to cherish our time together now?

Re-watched some videos of past syf pieces by our seniors, because Huien was watching them haha. What can we do to become as good as them? The discipline, the values, the spirit. Fading from generation to generation. What can we do to keep those flames alive? What can we do to pass on the best we can give and let them manifest into something beyond "good"? I think it's really something to ponder and think about. It may be hard, but I know that many are trying their best to do what they can.

I guess sometimes I just envy those in sports CCAs. They have so many matches, so many chances to keep reflecting on their previous mistakes and improve themselves for the next match. We work so hard, all for that one chance every 2 years, that 7 minutes on stage. If only we had more chances and opportunities...

Oh well, now that syf is over, it's time to focus on our studies again. I don't think I will ever forget this memorable experience with RVDS. All the sweat, bruises and fatigue. Sounding sadistic but I will miss all those too haha. I love you, RVDS!
