And I said, "I'm already used to it."
That was what I've been telling myself for many years, and thoughts that have been surpressed deep beneath somewhere resurfaced again today. Always the one putting up a strong front, always putting on a smile at the most awkward situations. Ha. That's life I guess.
But when I see others struggling like what I've been through, I feel kinda relieved, because I think I won't have to go through all that a second time. Those were all in the past.
So I guess I'll just end off with this quote:
"No matter how stained your past is, your future is still spotless."
No point in whining over the past; we should all smile to the future(:
