Hi all, before I begin this post maybe you wanna brace yourself a little...
I AM FREE FROM PW WHOOPEEEEEE!!
I asked yall to have 心里准备 cuz I always scream out the words in my head when I see them all in caps hahaha.
Finally, after a gruelling year of Project Work, we are free.
We submitted our Group Project File today, which marks the end of PW.
PW is basically the craziest period so far throughout my 5 years in RV, and we know that next year, A levels will be our next big hurdle.
I will definitely miss the times chionging reports in school the last few days before submission, spending sleepless nights trying to squeeze ideas out of my dried brain and attempting to make sense of what I was typing.
There was even once I didn't sleep a wink the whole night to do up the ppt for OP and headed off for school right after that.
I was so sad that day because my tutor didn't like the style of the ppt and it had to be redone :(
But I was grateful that my group mates were willing to share the burden and help out :)
I have to tell you how much I love my group, RV047.
Taken right after our OP ended. WE WERE SO HAPPY. |
I think that every group has their own story to tell,
and ours is just full of nonsense, with lots of singing and of course, Jeremy getting bullied hahaha.
I will miss laughing at Jeremy's bad pronunciation of chinese words while recording our earthquake song.
I will miss Junhan's constant highing and how everyone would tell him to tone down.
I will also miss those crazy times when we had a group karaoke session after pw discussion at Gracia's house.
I even have the recordings and I tell you they sound HILARIOUSLY HORRIBLE HAHAHA.
I will also miss how obsessed we were with the song 煎熬 by 李佳薇.
It's such a great song by the way!
One of us would start humming or singing the song and usually Jian will just "no please no chinese song omg" xD
Or someone else will "Omg not that song againnnn" hahaha.
And of course, Jeremy's legendary recording of himself trying to match the original key.
Too hilarious le!
Ok luhh gotta admit I do feel kinda bad for him when I let others listen to it...
I won't send it to others okayy! Pinky promise!
After the printing of our Written Report! We spent the day touching up our WR while Jeremy recorded our Earthquake song haha |
My bestie and group leader Gracia :) |
It was great time spent with my group mates.
We shared joy, laughter and tears, sometimes frustration.
Surprise birthday celebration for our dear alien Jeremy while doing our WR at Starbucks |
Especially in the days leading up to oral presentation, I feel that my class became even closer.
Every day was spent together as a group if not a class, and I particularly enjoyed the last few days when we reported to the school library daily, only leaving when it was late in the evening.
Automatically taking turns to practice our presentation, laughing at each other's weird "thinking face" or "shock face", and even those who can't help but zao sia (go off-tune) when presenting.
Treating the library as our "home", going up and down the stairs just to go toilet.
All of these will be precious memories that I will hold on to dearly.
Of course, I will also miss our PW tutor Ms Wong.
I'm sure we are all used to her accent and how funny her sarcastic remarks are.
I do feel bad towards her for making her stay with us in school till it's dark and she has to miss her meals.
Don't have the impression we mistreat her ok!
We got buy her sandwiches and food de haha, we very considerate de hor!
We gave Ms Wong a puzzle of our class photo taken the day before our OP day :') |
She is a really committed teacher, despite her complains that we are "mean people" hahaha.
I love how quick she is with her thinking, and I think she has done a great job despite her first time taking PW.
I hope that she will keep those precious (and maybe not so pleasant at times) memories of us being her first PW class, just like how I will keep those memories close to me.
THANK YOU MS WONG, THANK YOU 5J'13, THANK YOU RV047.
Ms Wong always said in the most dramatic way that life would be beautiful once it's over.
Yes, life is indeed beautiful now.
Freedom has never been sweeter.
